3 Birds eye and 3 Worms eye A assignment
In this picture the rule of thirds is marked with the black lines as you can tell the center of attention falls on the lines. My leading lines are the shadows and the line in the pavement. As well this picture is a birds eye as I am looking down on the subject.
In this picture I am looking up on the subjectmaking it a worms eye shot. The rule of thirds is indicated byr the grid lines and the subject falls on the grids lines. The leading lines of this shot are the raailings and the roof of the school.

My Issue
My issue is about deforestation. Deforestation is a major problem in the world, around two thirds of the earths animal and plant life are found in forests. Thev most in rainforests such as the amazon which losses an area the size of Switzerland every single year, puting mor co2 in our atmosphere and disturbing countless animals. In India there is a major problem of the rapid deforestation and the rapid extinction of the orangutang. The links i have chosen are links where I have found good pictures such as bing and goolge. If you type yourissue in they will usually come up with many good pictures that lead to informative sites. Greenpeace.org is on there because the are on of the biggest and most renowned activist group in the world and they protest on all fronts such as deforestation, whales, oceans, coal, etc. Greenpeace also made nestle staop using palm oil that comes from major deforestation. Nationalgeagraphic.com also helps save our planet from climate change.

Halftone
The process of creating a halftone begins with a greyscale image that is approximately 200dpi. Create the image in Photoshop by changing the greyscale image into a bitmap image. Bitmap setting should beas follows for a 155 mesh count screen.
Output resolution 200dpi
Select halftone bitmap image
Screen angle for one screen seperation is 45 degrees
Dot shape is elipse
Frequency is approximately 30 lpi
Before printing to film, print out a laser version to determine if the dot pattern lines up properly. It is impossible to predict the line patterns on screen because of the dot patterns on the monitor.

Shaping an idea/concept
Shaping an idea / concept
Stage 1
Collect and Select
Use images and words or phrases to determine an idea, theme
Collect – open mind – subconscious
- Select – edit – three grouping – general ideas
- Revisit – Collect – add to collections
- Verbalize – add words to each collection
Stage 2
Develop the idea / mood
Using colour, texture, patterns, lines and brushes
- Use three colours to create a colour scheme
- Determine the mood of colours dark /light, bright/subdue etc.
- Lines determine sight lines – static dynamic

Collect and Select
Collect and Select:
- Open mind-it means you do not edit
- More is better- more images
- It may not fit my idea- does not matter
- Do not worry about file size
- Allow for equal value of each image.
- Allow for ADD.
